The Charitable Foundation \u201cMHP\u2013Hromadi,\u201d in partnership with the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, has announced the launch of the competition \u201cCultural Routes of Communities.\u201d The total budget of the LOT amounts to UAH 8 million.<\/p>\n

The initiative covers communities across Ukraine (excluding temporarily occupied territories, regional centers, and the city of Kyiv) and aims to create cultural and educational routes as a tool for territorial development.<\/p>\n

Applications will be accepted from March 5 to April 5, 2026.<\/p>\n

Culture as Development Infrastructure<\/h2>\n

\u201cCultural Routes of Communities\u201d is a program supporting initiatives that create cultural and educational routes as a comprehensive product of a community. These routes are based on local heritage, traditions, history, and contemporary creative solutions.<\/p>\n

Within the competition, a route is viewed as a well-designed system with a clear concept, map, meaningful content, service components, and digital tools. Its creation requires cooperation among local authorities, cultural institutions, creative teams, businesses, and community residents.<\/p>\n

\u201cCultural routes combine heritage and creativity, transforming local stories into high-quality products. Such initiatives attract tourists and stimulate the development of local small businesses. By continuing our partnership with responsible business, we expand opportunities to support systemic solutions while maintaining high standards of transparency.\u201d<\/p>\n

The program helps communities structure their cultural resources and turn them into tools for territorial development. A route strengthens local identity, supports tourism, and creates opportunities for small businesses and creative industries.<\/p>\n

Projects may include interactive maps, mobile applications, VR\/AR features, and multimedia solutions that make cultural experiences accessible to wider audiences.<\/p>\n

Special attention is given to frontline and recently de-occupied communities.

Funding and Conditions<\/h2>\n

Grant amounts range from UAH 500,000 to UAH 1 million.
Mandatory co-financing must be at least 10% of the total project budget.<\/p>\n
