The Ukrainian Veterans Foundation, in partnership with the School Nutrition Reform Team and with the support of the MHP\u2013romadi Charitable Foundation through the \u201cMHP Poruch\u201d programme, has announced a new grant competition for veteran-owned businesses in the school catering sector.\u00a0<\/span>\ud83c\udf7d\ufe0f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Successful\u00a0applicants\u00a0can\u00a0receive\u00a0grants\u00a0ranging\u00a0from\u00a0UAH 500,000\u00a0to\u00a0UAH 3\u00a0million.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Starting from September 2026, Ukraine\u2019s national school meal programme will expand to cover all students in grades 1\u201311. As demand for catering and outsourced school meal services continues to grow, veterans will have new opportunities to build sustainable businesses, create jobs, and contribute to providing high-quality meals for Ukrainian children.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligible applicants include veteran-owned sole proprietorships, self-mployed individuals, and legal entities in which veterans are the ultimate beneficial owners, either already operating in the food service sector or planning to develop school catering services.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Applications\u00a0are\u00a0open\u00a0until\u00a017\u00a0June\u00a02026 (6:00 PM\u00a0Kyiv\u00a0time).\u00a0The\u00a0winners\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0announced\u00a0on\u00a023\u00a0July\u00a02026.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
