We were delighted to host several hundred children who, together with their families, have been forced to leave their homes, at a fair in Kholodny Yar, the site of a traditional art festival. The festival enabled these children to immerse themselves in fairy tale themed activities and experiences and temporarily forget about the horrors of the war.<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2488 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/mhpgromadi.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/\u043a\u0437-3-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mhpgromadi.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/\u043a\u0437-3-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mhpgromadi.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/\u043a\u0437-3-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mhpgromadi.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/\u043a\u0437-3-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mhpgromadi.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/\u043a\u0437-3-1536x1023.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/mhpgromadi.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/\u043a\u0437-3.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/center>A highlight of the festivities was a longstanding tradition of Krutyy Zamis where visitors are taught to cook and taste home-made bread, a local speciality. Fragrant, with a crispy crust, it can be tasted as soon as it is taken out of the oven.
