\"\"<\/center>\u00abMHP-Gromadi\u00bb received the highest rating \u2013 five stars \u2013 in a national competition of charitable organisations. Organised by the Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine, the competition started in August this year, after which numerous charitable organisations submitted applications in order to compete. A comprehensive analysis of all the participants and their activities soon followed, and according to the results \u00abMHP-Gromadi\u00bb received the highest rating \u2013 94 out of 100 \u2013 which resulted in a five-star score.<\/p>\n

“Systematic work, reporting, transparency, reliable cooperation with partners, responsibility for our every step \u2013 that is what\u2019s important to us and what was held in high regard by Compass. We are proud to receive the highest rating, and it shows we are moving in the right direction. Our plans include further support for Ukraine\u2019s communities \u2013 the bedrock of our economy \u2013 as well as those who find themselves in difficult circumstances today,” commented Tetyana Volochai, Director of \u00abMHP-Gromadi\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/center>The expert council that carried out the ratings assessed the transparency of the funds’ work, financial reporting, availability of information about management and supervisory boards, and efficiency of donated funds.<\/p>\n

The organisers of the project also note that they paid close attention to best practice in other countries to guide their criteria. In particular, they looked at Charity Navigator and Charity Watch in the United States, as well as various bodies across Britain such as the Charity Commission in England and Wales, and the OSCR in Scotland.<\/p>\n

These institutions are the largest global organisations that assess the accountability, financial performance and fundraising management of charitable institutions in their respective countries. The information provided is evaluated by international donors and businesses, who then make decisions about whether or not to work with a particular organisation.<\/p>\n
