The occupation, displacement due to the war, exposure to gunfire, living in shelters and basements without basic sanitary conditions and access to clean drinking water, and chronic stress \u2013 all these factors are impacting the health of Ukrainian children now and will have long-term and costly repercussions for the country as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>Recognizing this, in May 2022, the doctors of National Children\u2019s Hospital \u201cOkhmatdyt\u201d initiated on-site examinations for children in the territories that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated from the occupiers.
