The MHP Run4Victory Cherkasy Marathon start and finish area will be located in the city centre, near the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration. The routes will run through the streets of Cherkasy, with turnaround points near Sosnovyi Bir Park and on Pryportova Street. For the third consecutive year, the event is being organised by MHP in partnership with the MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation. New Run is the event’s sports organiser.
“Our MHP Run4Victory charity marathons bring people together around two ideas: their own recovery and supporting our veterans. This is how we drive change by engaging businesses, public authorities, the media, prominent Ukrainians and local communities. For us, this is about the sustainable development of communities, because together we can achieve more where support is needed most today: for our service members, veterans and their families,” said Volodymyr Zabela, Director of the MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation.

The Cherkasy Marathon will continue the MHP Run4Victory series of charity races. In May, the Kyiv event brought together 7,215 participants and raised UAH 5,008,080 for prosthetic care for veterans Denys Semenovskyi and Yevhenii Puhachov at Protez Foundation.
“MHP Run4Victory is another way to bring our employees together in support of veterans. For us, it is an opportunity to turn individual and shared responsibility into concrete action: to stand together at the starting line and contribute to veteran rehabilitation. What matters here is not how many kilometres you run, but why you run them,” said Serhii Nikolaiev, HRD of MHP’s Agribusiness.
The organisers aim to raise UAH 3 million in Cherkasy to develop and equip the MFC Dnipro Physical and Sports Rehabilitation Centre. The funds will be used to purchase therapeutic exercise equipment, a shockwave therapy device, a laser system and other medical equipment. The new Centre will also create at least two jobs for veterans who are currently undergoing rehabilitation at MFC Dnipro.

MHP and the Foundation based the medal ribbon design on the works of Mykola Telizhenko, a People’s Artist of Ukraine and the creator of the Cherkasy city flag and the coat of arms of the Cherkasy region. The ribbon features a QR code linking to the artist’s virtual museum, allowing every participant to discover the region’s cultural heritage. The medal itself depicts iconic Cherkasy landmarks, including the Blue Palace and the Bohdan Khmelnytsky monument.
A Ukrainian record attempt is also planned during the marathon: an employee of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine will run the full 42 km in complete protective gear in honour of a fallen colleague.
TV presenter Anatolii Anatolich is the marathon ambassador. The event will also be supported by other prominent Ukrainians. Media partners include 1+1 media, Ukrainska Pravda, Champion, Suspilne Cherkasy, Uliublene Radio and Radio Mahnit.

“This year, the MHP Run4Victory Cherkasy Marathon will bring runners together for the classic 42 km marathon distance for the first time. For Cherkasy, this is an important event and a new milestone in the development of the city’s running culture. We are grateful to our partner MHP for working with us to create not just a sporting event, but a race with an important social purpose. And, of course, we are grateful to every participant, because every registration contributes to developing a dedicated space for veteran rehabilitation in Cherkasy,” said Oksana Syvets, Director of New Run.

Participants can choose a distance based on their level of preparation:
Cash prizes, trophies, certificates and gifts from partners will be awarded to winners and top finishers across the various distances.
