Volodymyr Zabela is a manager with more than 15 years of experience in law, corporate and public administration, agribusiness, and the development of social projects. His professional career combines experience in the private and public sectors, management of large-scale organizations, and hands-on work with local communities.
Volodymyr holds a law degree from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where he studied at the Faculty of Law, Department of Justice. In 2012, he obtained a certificate granting him the right to practice law.
The early stages of Volodymyr’s career were focused on legal practice and agribusiness. He worked in the notarial sector and later held positions in agricultural companies. In 2010–2011, he was a lawyer at Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP), where he handled corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property matters, and contractual work. He subsequently worked at Agrofuel Ukraine, part of the international agricultural holding Agrogeneration (France), where he was responsible for land and contractual matters, litigation, permitting, and coordinating the operations of regional enterprises.
In 2014–2015, Volodymyr headed Makariv AgroBud. As Director, he was responsible for the company’s overall operational management, from organizing day-to-day activities to making management decisions related to the cultivation, storage, and sale of agricultural products.
The next stage of his career was in the public sector. From 2016 to 2020, Volodymyr Zabela served as Deputy Director of the Executive Directorate of the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine. He coordinated the Fund’s legal activities, including litigation and claims handled by 65 lawyers across Ukraine, as well as its IT, information security, and anti-corruption functions. His area of responsibility also included coordinating the Fund’s operations across 7 regions of Ukraine.
Since 2020, Volodymyr has worked at MHP, gradually moving from corporate management toward community development and social initiatives. Before being appointed Director of the MHP-Hromadi Charitable Foundation, he headed the Regional Development Group within MHP’s Corporate Social Responsibility Department. In this role, he focused on strengthening cooperation with local communities, coordinating regional activities, and implementing social projects.
An important area of Volodymyr’s work is support for Ukrainian military personnel. He regularly visits defenders directly at the frontline, meets with service members, including MHP employees currently serving in the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and helps identify and address the current needs of military units.
Since May 6, 2026, Volodymyr Zabela has served as Director of the MHP-Hromadi Charitable Foundation.
In this role, he is responsible for further developing and scaling the Foundation’s activities, with a focus on supporting military personnel, veterans and their families, developing local communities and entrepreneurship, and preserving and strengthening Ukrainian culture and national identity.
