MODERN EQUIPMENT FOR RESCUERS

During these difficult times for our country THE STATE EMERGENCY SERVICES OF UKRAINE are selflessly carrying out the essential tasks of provide aid and rescue in the face of Russia’s horrific invasion of Ukraine. Given life’s many uncertainties it is impossible to foresee and prevent every future emergency but we can prepare for their occurrence.

Ensuring Ukraine’s emergency services have the right tools they need to carry out their essential work is very important to us. MHP foundation is delighted to have supported the firefighters of Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia region with new equipment so they can continue doing their lifesaving work.

We have been able to donate the following:

  • a modern Bauer PE 250 compressor, which can simultaneously charge two oxygen cylinders at 300-330 bar, which are used by firefighters to breathe in smoke-filled room;
  • blowing agent;
  • 39 filter boxes for gas masks.

We have also arranged for 12 sets of protective coveralls with special boots and gloves which are on their way to Ladyzhyn as we speak. In total the special equipment was purchased for about 600 000 UAH.

Now Ladyzhyn’s firefighters will be able to respond more effectively in responding to fires. We will continue to do all we can to provide the State Emergency Services with everything they need to carry out their dangerous, but vital mission.
