The purpose of the competition

The purpose of the competition is to help solve specific problems of small towns and rural communities by supporting local civic initiatives in Kaniv OTG.

Microgrants competition “Time to act, Kaniv region!” is part of the five-year social program “Time to Act”, implemented by the Charitable Foundation “MHP – Gromadi” with the financial support of the agro-industrial holding MHP.

The Foundation aims to develop community competencies in project management, in particular, to improve the quality of project writing and mastering fundraising tools to attract additional resources. Yes, within the framework of the competition everyone will be able to take part in a free special educational program. Participation in such a program is of a recommendatory nature and is not required to apply for the competition.

Conditions of participation:

1. Co-financing in the amount of at least 50% of the total amount of the project.

2. Involvement of partners (can be as representatives of local government, NGOs, business).

3. Informing OTG about the project.

4. Availability of infrastructural and educational components in equal proportion to project activities.

5. Correct application submission.

Priorities:

1. Development of human social capital — support for the elderly, improvement of education, support and development of youth, development of sports and culture;

Community capacity development — infrastructure development, development and support of small and micro entrepreneurship, digitization of communities;

Support of public health — provision of assistance to medical institutions, prevention and rehabilitation of the population, popularization of a healthy lifestyle among the rural population, preservation of physical, mental and spiritual health;

Ecology and energy efficiency — conservation of natural resources, handling of solid household waste, raising the population's eco-awareness.

Complete application (Appendix 1 – application for participation, Appendix 2 – application form, guarantee letters from partners with the signature and seal of an authorized person in *PDF format).
