Across communities throughout Ukraine, the annual “Sweet Christmas” initiative took place — a long-standing project implemented by MHP together with the MHP-Hromadi Charitable Foundation as part of their ongoing, systemic support for local communities and families.

This year, the project reached 69,375 children across 13 regions of Ukraine, bringing them a sense of celebration and care that is especially important in challenging times.
In schools, kindergartens, boarding schools, social support centers, and other educational and social institutions, children received festive sweet gift packages and warm wishes ahead of the winter holidays. For many families, these gifts became not only a symbol of Christmas, but also a sincere sign of attention and support.

“This project is not just about sweets. It is about giving children attention, warmth, and a sense of celebration they truly deserve. In such challenging times, every child’s smile becomes a ray of hope for the entire community,”
“Sweet Christmas” has become a recognizable MHP tradition that each year brings together the company, communities, and local educational institutions around acts of kindness.

In 2025, gifts were delivered to children in the Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Volyn, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions.
The project reached preschool children, school students, and residents of specialized boarding institutions — those who are especially in need of attention, care, and a sense of joy today.

This year, the initiative received an important addition: as part of the MHP Poruch program, special greeting cards were included in the holiday gift packages, allowing children to write or draw messages for Ukraine’s defenders. All children’s wishes will be delivered to the frontline by the Foundation to support service members with warm words and gratitude from those they protect every day.
The cards became a symbolic bridge between generations — children thanking those who safeguard their childhood, and defenders receiving a heartfelt sign of support and appreciation.
“Children’s words of gratitude and support carry extraordinary power. They strengthen morale and remind defenders that they are awaited, believed in, and deeply appreciated,”

MHP and the MHP-Hromadi Charitable Foundation continue to provide consistent support to communities, strengthen social resilience, and preserve Ukrainian traditions.
“Sweet Christmas” is one of the warmest initiatives, bringing joy to children and offering service members a heartfelt sense of support, gratitude, and a reminder that they are awaited at home.
