
The memorandum outlines both parties commitment to protect the rights and interests of Ukrainian citizens and how we are taking into account the desire of civilians to actively participate in national resistance to the Russian invaders. Together we have agreed on multi-vector activities, which will be realized through the hosting of joint events and projects and the free exchange of information. The main purpose of the Memorandum is to consolidate the efforts of partners to overcome the consequences of Russian aggression and protect the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens. Our initial meetings have identified a number of collaborative opportunities that will make a real difference including in children’s education, helping to alleviate the disruption cause by the conflict and ensuring they have the psychological and emotional assistance and support they need to process the horrors they have experienced over the past months.
Pavlo Moroz, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility Department at MHP, welcomed this cooperation between the two charities, noting that collaboration is now very important to ensure more effective and coordinated efforts organizing and mobilizing the large number of volunteers– and to reach out to those most in need of support and succor during these troubling times.
