For the second year in a row, MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation received an audit report from the international company PwC in Ukraine.

The Foundation’s financial statement, prepared as of December 31, 2023, in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), was audited in line with the International Standards on Auditing. An audit is important to charitable foundations as it ensures transparency and accountability to donors and civil society. Involving auditors also helps to determine areas for improving internal control systems related to accounting and financial reporting.

We have successfully passed an audit by a leading company, which opinion is trusted by the entire international community and by our donors. According to Forbes, our Foundation is among the TOP-20 largest Ukrainian charitable funds, therefore, we are accountable for each donation allocated. Thus, in 2023, we raised UAH 747 million, and this amount was openly and transparently allocated to aid those who really need it.

Oleksandr Pakholiuk, Director of MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation

In his opinion, international audits not only contribute to better efficiency and optimized resource management but also shape a certain culture within the charity industry. It is crucial, notedly during the war, when foundations and other charitable organizations should promptly allocate funds to meet certain needs.

MHP–Gromadi Charitable Foundation has been operating since 2015, being involved in the comprehensive restoration and development of communities in 13 regions of Ukraine, and active implementation of infrastructure, healthcare, educational, and cultural projects in cooperation with international and Ukrainian donors.
