The purpose of the competition

«Time to act, Ukraine!» is a competition of traditional social initiatives adapted for modern times, which we introduced almost from the very beginning of the foundation. Prior winners include projects aimed at diversifying children’s education & leisure time, safeguarding the environmental and improving public health.

Recent successful initiatives have featured the arrangement of a reliable shelter for schoolchildren and the creation of rehabilitation centers for Ukraine’s wounded defenders. The aim of the competition is to help realize community focused solutions to longstanding social problems and support valuable local initiatives that help to treat the traumas arising from the ongoing conflict.

Geography:

Geography – 11 oblasts of Ukraine (Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Volyn, Chernihiv, Ternopil)

Conditions of participation:

1. The registration

Potential participants must fill out the registration form and download the project application form, guarantee letters from partners with signatures of authorized persons and seals of organizations, in one file, in PDF format, on the website of the Rapid Response Grant Program “Time to act, Ukraine!”, at the link: https: //timetoact.com.ua.

2. The projects submitted for consideration must be implemented in 2022.

3. One team can submit one or more project applications.

4. The budget of the initiative must include a personal contribution of 30% or more.

Project proposals will be supported in the following areas:

1. Energy security.

2. Support for internally displaced persons

3. Rehabilitation of veterans.

4. System projects in education, medicine, infrastructure.

5. Preservation of traditions and cultural heritage.

3 Educational institutions

4 Healthcare institutions

5 Non-governmental organizations
