ANDRIY RIZOL, HEAD OF THE “WATCH UKRAINIAN!”ASSOCIATION: DEMAND FOR HISTORICAL FILMS EXCEEDS THAT FOR COMEDIES

More than a thousand screenings of Ukrainian films have been organized since the beginning of August as part of the National Tour “Cinema for Victory!”. Despite russia’s invasion audiences across 18 regions of Ukraine, including military units, had the opportunity to  admire the country’s  visual art and communicate with the stars of the screen: Ada Rogovtseva, Bohdan Benyuk, Irma Vitovska, Oleksiy Trytenko, Akhtem Seitablayev and many others.

The second stage of the project has now begun – with domestic produced movies to be showcased to the military.  Within the framework of the “Culture as a Weapon” project, Ukrinform talks about all this with the head of the “Watch Ukrainian!” Association, film producer Andriy Rizol.
