MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation listed among Ukraine’s top 50 largest funds by Forbes
Forbes magazine has published a ranking of Ukraine’s largest charitable funds. The list was compiled using publicly available data on the declared incomes of charitable organizations. The editorial team analyzed data from surveys, financial reports, and open sources. This is the first large-scale ranking of charitable organizations conducted during the full-scale russian war. The MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation ranked 16th in the top 20.
In 2023, the Foundation invested over UAH 686 million in key social, cultural, and humanitarian projects across nearly 700 communities.
Oleksandr Pakholiuk, director of the MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation, highlighted the organization’s significant achievements in community development and the strengthening of its team’s expertise over nearly 10 years. He also emphasized the Foundation’s focus on measuring the impact of its work, not just by the number of new donors and partners but also by the long-term success of funded projects. Despite challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic and the full-scale war, many of these projects have continued to thrive and make a lasting difference.
“The success of MHP-Gromadi is built on our strategic principles,” says Oleksandr Pakholiuk. “We take a systematic approach to solving complex issues, actively engage communities in our projects, and continuously evolve. Our team is always seeking new opportunities to bring even more projects to local communities. Our goal is to help them grow, transform, and move towards a stronger civil society so that people in Ukraine’s villages and small towns would be willing to call them home. This is both our dream and our mission, and we are doing everything we can to make it a reality.”
The Forbes ranking of Ukraine’s largest charitable funds also includes organizations such as “Come Back Alive,” “Caritas Ukraine,” “Kolo,” “Renaissance,” “Children of Heroes,” “Khartia,” and the Olena Zelenska Foundation, among others.
