«MHP-GROMADI» DONATE 20 MILLION UAH FOR UNITED24
The “MHP – Gromadi” charitable foundation continues to participate in large scale humanitarian projects and are delighted to be able to mobilize our resources to support the health care sector as part of the global fundraising initiative of the President of Ukraine UNITED24.
The fundraising platform UNITED24 (https://u24.gov.ua/) collects money in three streams. The “MHP-Gromadi” fund transferred funds for the “Medical assistance” stream, specifically for the targeted collection of type C ambulances, which is being initiated by the first lady Olena Zelenska. Our donation will enable the purchase of five C-type ambulances, each of which has an estimated cost of $100,000.
ABOUT THE UNITED24 PLATFORM
The global initiative UNITED24 (online platform u24.gov.ua) was launched in May 2022 by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi. The first step was the introduction of the eponymous fundraising platform for collecting charitable donations in support of Ukraine from all over the world. The funds are collated by the National Bank of Ukraine and split into three streams: defense and demining of territories, humanitarian and medical aid, and the reconstruction of Ukraine. As of the beginning of August, 110 countries of the world have participated fundraising through UNITED24 in support of Ukraine, and the total amount of funds raised from all over the world exceeds 160 million US dollars.
