Our Aid to Communities: Special Project by Gazeta.ua on the Second Anniversary of Full-Scale Invasion

“We aspire to demonstrate that we, akin to the city, can possess a modern gym, children’s space, and high-quality medical services.”

Over the past year, Ukraine’s territorial communities have contributed over UAH 16 billion towards the needs of the Armed Forces. They also allocated an additional UAH 1.3 billion directly to the state budget to cater to urgent needs, such as training personnel and troops, medical supplies, procurement of UAVs and their spare parts, boats, COMJAM equipment, and vehicle batteries. Besides supporting the country’s defenders and defense, they are implementing projects to foster the development of local business, education, culture, and sports.

In the joint special project of Gazeta.ua and MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation, we will share about local communities that exemplify patriotism, cohesion, unity, aid to the defenders, volunteerism, and mutual support. In general, there are two programs of cooperation between the local community and MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation. The first is co-financing of projects. The second program of cooperation with MHP-Gromadi is small business support.
