The director of the department, Pavlo Moroz, took part in a discussion on the importance of joining efforts in overcoming the consequences of the war in Ukraine. He also articulated the motivations and spirit that drives the Foundation and its employees to support initiatives that help bring Ukraine one step closer to victory.
The summit included a presentation on further volunteering opportunities and planned international technical assistance projects to help the people of Ukraine. The fact that such a summit could take place in Ukraine during Russia’s unprovoked invasion demonstrates the commitment and willingness of all those who attended to improve co-operation and collaboration between the state and charity sector.
The Summit was organized by Izar Ednan in partnership with the Lviv Oblast State Administration with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development through its Ukraine Civil Society Sector Support Initiative project –, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine and the European Union.
