The entrepreneurial stories compiled here serve as examples of how to forge your own path, even in the face of war. With grants of up to UAH 100,000, our heroes managed to initiate or revive their own businesses, thereby bolstering the nation’s economy.

This material was created in collaboration with MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation, a Ukrainian charity that supports entrepreneurs and other Ukrainians affected by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

His social media is a blend of aesthetic delight and a tantalizing explosion of flavors. Artem Rozkokokha, the victor of the professional cooking show MasterChef 2, shares vibrant images of the pasta he crafts and photographs on his social media.

Artem has harbored a passion for confectionery since his teenage years and launched his own business this year after winning the Do Your Own grant competition from MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation. We delve into how he achieved this and what it took to secure the grant in ShoTam.

 

Greenhouse in Grandma’s Garden: How Vinnytsia Region Entrepreneur Secured Grant for Strawberry Business

Dmytro Hryn from Ladyzhyn surveys his property with joy and pride – long, uniform rows of strawberries in greenhouses. Last year, he personally delivered aromatic strawberries to his first customers. Now, he already boasts 7 greenhouses and numerous plans to expand his Trueberry business.
